Developing this boutique is, for me, much more than a professional project: It is one of the ways I have chosen to live art differently, beyond traditional frameworks. As a woman and single mother of three children, I often had to invent paths that did not yet exist throughout my journey.
My technological medium, in my media arts practice, considered too avant-garde at the time, did not easily find its place within established structures. I explored the art world for a while, but the exhaustion of trying to survive, of leading two or three lives in parallel, and of seeking a constancy I could not find, pushed me to step back. That’s when I understood: I could no longer create by adapting to frameworks that did not reflect my reality. I had to trace my own path, freer, more faithful to my passion and my life. I slowly began to take a different route.
Creating my own way of making art may not be the most glamorous or the easiest path. But it is the truest, the most aligned with my life. This choice demands sacrifice, courage, and great perseverance. It requires walking outside marked trails, inventing my own landmarks, and holding on even when recognition from a system is no longer an objective. Yet it is in this fidelity to oneself that true creative freedom resides. There is no longer a wall between professional and personal life when one follows what truly animates them. By listening to joy, moment after moment, day after day, I shape a life full of meaning, in all its dimensions.
What was once marginal is better recognized today. This boutique was born from that evolution: a virtual studio, a space of freedom where my works can travel to you without compromise.
A Boutique as a Living Space
My works often take root in my travels and in attention to spontaneous instants: a simple gesture, a fleeting light, a scene from everyday life captured in the present. These images become material for creation, living memory transformed into artworks.
Each collection explores this movement between the microcosm and the macrocosm: starting from an infinitesimal detail — an alga, an imprint, a color, a scene from everyday life — and opening toward the wider space of landscapes, the world, the imagination.
The photographs, moments of travel or everyday life captured in the flow of the present, and the photo-projections, images transformed by projection onto surfaces, open toward another dimension.
This boutique is both a place to acquire my works and a living showcase to discover and contemplate them. Like a sensitive travel diary, it gathers photographs and photo-projections and extends into the blog through, among other things, stories, behind-the-scenes, and fragments of road trips that nourish my artistic approach.
