MANIFESTING, FROM SEED TO TREE 1

The theory of the power of manifestation maintains that your thoughts, feelings or beliefs can create your reality. From my perspective, since the universe is a frequency, it would be realistic to believe that it reflects our vibrations like a mirror and sends them back to us to form, in a way, our reality. By the sea, I can imagine this tree providing shade; I can almost smell the fragrance of its leaves. The artwork Manifesting, from seed to tree 1, reminds us that despite all our attempts to manifest this shade, without planting this seed in the ground, no tree will grow.

This artwork was created in 2024 from a photo-projection made from Photographs of baobab trees in the Bandia Reserve in Sindia, and a view of the sea from Ngor Island in Dakar, Senegal, Africa.
