Baobabs, acacias, jujube trees and cheese trees are becoming increasingly rare. The dunes need to be reforested with trees called nep nep and filahos, which like dry soils. The dune tree 1 artwork intertwines desert sands and African trees, natural partners, reminding us of the importance of balance in everything, necessary to the ecosystem in which we live.
