Deserts are advancing steadily in Africa. The Sahara is gradually swallowing the continent, and we are witnessing human deforestation and overgrazing. Baobabs, acacias, jujube trees and cheese trees are becoming increasingly rare. The dunes need to be reforested with trees called nep nep and filahos, which like dry soils. The dune tree 5 artwork intertwines desert sands and African trees, natural partners, reminding us of the importance of balance in everything, necessary to the ecosystem in which we live.
This artwork is a reproduction of a digital creation created from a projection on a wall.
