Going through life requires great resilience, and certain moments or passages can sometimes demand courage and determination. In the The passage 2 artwork, natural elements find their way. Water, fluid and patient, bypasses what can be avoided. If the obstacle is unavoidable, it slowly but surely carves it out, creating a passageway for itself, however long it takes, in order to continue on its way. The sun, for its part, passes through all obstacles, creating a play of light and shadow with its brilliance. Resilient, it creates new landscapes by embracing everything in its path.

This artwork was created in 2024 from a photo-projection made from photographs of a shrub captured in the Lompoul Desert and a sunset landscape in Ngaparou. Senegal, Africa.
