According to research conducted by Dr. Masaru Emoto, water exposed to the vibration of kind words, such as “thank you” or “love”, would reveal brilliant, complex and colorful shapes. Conversely, polluted water and water exposed to negative thoughts would produce incomplete, asymmetrical, dull-colored patterns. The artwork of The wise water 1 express water carrying memories in the same way as these old sages carry oral traditions, assimilating the vibrations, reflections and frequencies of their environment. We are composed of water, so we are also the memories of The wise water.

This artwork was created in 2024 from a photo-projection made with photographs of the rippling reflection of a baobab tree on the riverbank, near Dangane in the Saloum Delta, Senegal, Africa.
