Traveling on African roads in Africa is magical and theatrical, a living lesson in resilience, letting go, and agility. The traffic is frenetic, each journey becomes an adventure, unpredictable and vibrant, where the driver weaves through with courage.
Landscapes unfold like film sets: golden savannas, colorful villages, and spontaneous roadside markets. On the road, a donkey passes by, a peanut vendor appears at the window, a child waves a hand. And always, this spontaneous solidarity in case of breakdown. It’s more than a journey, it’s a living theater, raw and generous, where every turn tells a story.
This photograph was captured on the N2 road to Kébémer, Senegal, Africa.
In the image, a Ndiaga Ndiaye, one of the large hand-painted Senegalese buses, a true icon of the country’s collective transport.
