PHOTOS PROJECTIONS

To project is to transform light into matter.
Some works are born from a photo-projection process in the studio: my travel photographs or videos, captured with a cellphone (Mobile Art), are projected onto a white wall to become the support for a new creation. The projection and re-capture act as an alchemical experience, deconstructing and dematerializing forms to recompose them into luminous poetry. The ordinary becomes extraordinary, a silent dialogue between the microcosm and the macrocosm. See also My Creative Process in the blog.
